On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the birth of Jean Michel Basquiat, contemporary artist avant-garde and popular pioneer of the movement called “underground”, the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris has decided to devote from 15 October 2010 to 30 January 2011, to a major retrospective dedicated to the artist. This exhibition is the first so large-scaled to be ever held in France.<\/p>\n

For this event, we invited twentybloggers at the opening Thursday, October 14. They could take advantage of special welcome with a guided visit in the presence of the curators of the expo. They were also invited to the release of a new documentary by Tamra Davis about the artist: “Jean Michel Basquiat The Radiant Child”.<\/p>\n
